We’re releasing the first demo livecd for the Tryphon StreamBox.

This 200MB iso image contains the StreamBox boot image. You can burn and boot it or use a virtual machine. Don’t espect a nice desktop, the StreamBox is a small server, you’ll just see a server console.

When the box is connected to the network and started, just visit http://streambox.local 1 with our browser. You’ll see the StreamBox user interface.

It’s difficult to ensure a full hardware compatibility, but it should work on any i386 platform with a network interface and a sound card (with classic chipsets like HDA or AC87).

The Tryphon StreamBox uservoice forum waits your feedback or contact us directly.

1. Requires ZeroConf / Bonjour, available on most good operating systems
